PD: Games and Robots in Computer Engineering

Overview

The focus of this session is to explore how to utilize robotics in the Computer Engineering/Science classroom. We will look at how to integrate different types of games and challenges with the use of technology. We will start out with a quick activity to discover our learning goals. Then we will do a fast overview of how Mindstorms work and how to use the NQC (Not Quite C) programming language. We will brainstorm types of games and ideas and actually build a robot to solve an activity. Finally we will look at whether we successfully accomplished our learning goals and share our resources.
